We at Birds on the Brink Sanctuary were thrilled to learn of a group of people in Detroit using honeybees to revitalize abandoned parts of that city. Many lots were simply dumping grounds for trash. Now they are not only creating honey for local use, but providing people in those areas with a vision for improving their neighborhoods. Read all about it here.
